Membership costs only £10 per annum, so you should JOIN TODAY!

This modest fee means that you can get a paper or an electronic copy of our excellent badger Newsletter. This includes details of how we help badgers in Lancashire, and badger news from further afield - an ideal way for children or grandchildren to learn about badgers and wildlife.

You can also visit our purpose-built Badger Hide to watch badgers and their fluffy little cubs in the evenings.

We provide multi-media badger Training Days and talks where we can explain about badgers and how you can enjoy watching them. We also do educational talks for schools and community groups.

Every year, we have a friendly get together at our AGM, where we talk about the work we have done in the year; and listen to a badger person talk about what work they are famous for.

As well as providing you with value-for-money membership, an important part of your fee goes directly to supporting badgers. We campaign to get roads made safer (so badgers and their cubs don't get killed on the roads); and we try to make sure that green spaces are retained by local councils so badgers have somewhere to live and feed.

We also rescue badgers which have been injured or persecuted; and we are instrumental in supporting the Lancashire Police investigate and prosecute badger baiters, badger diggers and other criminals. We have protected badger setts in the past so that they can not be dug by people who want to harm badgers or destroy their woodland homes.
