We often give talks to community groups and schools to
educate people about badgers and the lives they live. We can usually supply an
experienced
speaker in the evening (and occasionally during the day), and we will pitch our
presentation to be suitable for your particular audience.
We bring our own
laptop and digital projector, so we just need access to a power socket,
table and a decent sized room with a wall we can put a screen against. Our digital presentation also includes sounds and video clips so
you can see and hear badgers as they live their wild lives. We also have a
shorter traditional presentation which uses our 35mm slide projector. Also, if you wish,
we can bring along "Barry" our resident preserved badger, so
children and adults can see and touch a real adult badger.
In the past, we have been to schools and colleges, the Women's Institute, Parish Councils, local Public
Houses, Clubs and natural history societies. If you would be interested in having a speaker, please Contact Us
to book a speaker. As well
as evenings, we can often arrange for speakers to appear on the radio, as well
as with TV/video production companies. If you are running a newspaper article or
a magazine feature about badgers or related issues, please feel free to contact
us as we can often supply you with useful information. Again, please Contact Us
for more information.
