We teamed up last week with East Lancashire Bat Group and Towneley Hall to hold a free family event centred around those mysterious creatures that only come out at night!
What a great day! The sun even made it’s first appearance for weeks!
We had badger talks, a bat talk and a wildlife of Towneley walk (and talk!), plus kids activities and raffles / tombolas. In the evening we also had a bat walk and rounded it all of with some moth trapping. An absolutely fantastic day, many thanks to everyone who came, all the volunteers from Lancs Badger Group and East Lancs Bat Group, and also to Towneley Hall for inviting us and making us so welcome.
