You will gain an understanding of types of badger crime, how to recognise when a crime has taken place, how to respond to a badger crime and the law with regard to badgers.Find out more »
This training day is aimed at beginners and those who would like to refresh their theory in surveying for badgers. We will also cover monitoring for both our own volunteers and briefly covering monitoring for development purposes.
You will gain a sound understanding of the signs of badger activity and setts and a general understanding of how to survey and what to look for at arrival of a sett.
This year’s AGM will be held on Saturday 21st March at Salmesbury War Memorial Hall, Cuerdale Lane, Walton-le-Dale, Samlesbury, Preston PR5 0UY from 6.00pm. Our speaker is Mal Ingham, ex head ranger and police wildlife officer, with a wealth of experience working with the police and the RSPCA Special Ops Unit on badger digging & baiting incidents and experiences of monitoring otters plus of course badgers!
