You can help us to help badgers in lots of ways...

Survey for, rescue and educate people about badgers.

As a not for profit Charity, every aspect of running the Group is carried out by volunteers. We are always on the look out for people willing to get involved. Whether this is in an administrative role, helping with the day to day running of the group or a more practical hands on approach out in the field, it is all important and without the volunteers the group would not be able to function.

If you have a specific skill or are just enthusiastic to learn please read on…

Our members and volunteers carry out surveys and monitoring activity, rescue injured and sick badgers, support the police in the investigation of crimes and work together on practical conservation tasks.

Volunteers also take members of the public out badger watching, both at our purpose built hide and to local setts, visit schools and community groups to talk about badgers and attend events.

You can help run our website, produce newsletters and update our shop or social media pages. Regular content is always needed for all of our channels and our news page, keeping us and our supporters, members and the public up to date with all things ‘badger’.

Whatever your interest, we will support you with training and you will meet other people with a similar outlook.
